Code of Conduct

The Emerging Futures Summit encourages participants to engage in team-work and collaboration. These future skills are what we hear employers asking for constantly. Our Summit is designed to test your ability to listen and collaborate with others in a team environment, especially when you are working with other cultures. Our future is global and connected and your work experience starts today.

We are dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, regardless of the following:

  • gender

  • age

  • sexual orientation

  • disability

  • race

  • ethnicity

  • nationality

  • religion

  • political views

We do not tolerate disrespect to other participants in any form.  Participants violating these rules will be expelled from the summit to ensure we are creating a safe space for all others.

Disrespect includes:

  • offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or political views,

  • inappropriate imagery,

  • deliberate intimidation,

Disrespect also includes not allowing all of your team members to be fully engaged and have their thoughts, ideas and opinions heard.  We understand you may disagree with one another and this is OK, it will be the way in which you truly learn to understand each other that you will have your greatest success.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact one of your mentors immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the organisers may remove you from the Summit.

We wish you an exciting, invigorating, inspiring and life-changing Summit and truly hope that all participants enjoy a positive experience.
